SCRIPTURE - New International Version

Prayer Starter

SUN

Luke 15:10 - “In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Oh, Lord, I am a sinner. Every day, I try to do Your will, but sometimes I fail. Please help me Lord to know what rejoicing takes place when I come before You and repent of my sins.

MON

2 Timothy 2:24 -” And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.“

Father, I need to control my words and my actions to be kind to others, even when they hurt me or ridicule me. Help me, my father, to show my brothers and sisters the Way and to present it in a manner that is not ridiculing, but lovingly said.

TUES

Psalms 38:17-18 - “For I am about to fall, and my pain is ever with me. I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin. “

Lord, I am troubled and hurting. I know I have done deeds that are unacceptable to my faith and to You. Why, Lord, do I do these deeds that I know are wrong? Mold me Lord, into a better person, and a stronger Follower.

WED

2 Peter 3:9 - “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.“

Father God, I know You are patient with Your children. I know You want Your children to flourish and not perish to the sins of this world. Please, Lord, forgive us, forgive me, as a sinner, to draw closer to You and wait patiently for You to come and take us to heaven and eternal life with You.

THUR

2 Corinthians 5:21- “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. “

Lord, how can I thank You for taking my sins to the cross and sacrificing Your life for me. How can I, so undeserving, even encompass what You endured in pain and suffering, so that I would be forgiven from sin. I am in awe of You and I lay myself before you in repentance that You will forgive me daily for my sins so I will be deserving of eternal life with You. Thank You Jesus.

FRI

Joshua 1:8 - “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. “

Father, what is wrong with the world we live in? You have given us an instruction book on how to live, and we have ignored your Law, and instead taken up the “law” of the world. Are we better following the law of the world, instead of Your law and instructions in Your Word? No, we haven’t, and I pray we turn back to Your Word, and follow Your great commandments to save our world, before it is too late. Oh, Lord, give us a revival!

SAT

Isaiah 55:6 - “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. “

Lord, we are in perilous times. We are not struggling so much in wars, inflation, pandemics, as we are in the forces of evil these come from. When will Your people wake up! Lord, we have to hold strong, and defeat the evil forces that are trying to take us hostage. Please, give us strength, courage, perseverance, and faith to stand strong against the evil of this world and hold close to You and Your Word! Praise Jesus!
